EDUCATION PROJECTS

Start with teaching and everyday school activities

Understand how pupils, teachers and administrative staff use the premises, alongside its appearance. YAT's existing school category includes primary, kindergarten and secondary school projects. Explore the different spaces, then discuss your improvement needs.

Explain who will use the space and how

Lessons, music activities, administration and school displays need different settings. Describe user numbers, activities, furniture, equipment and areas to improve to make the discussion specific.

Include school arrangements in the discussion

School calendars, holidays, room usage and access arrangements may affect coordination. Provide proposed dates and site constraints, then discuss feasibility against the actual scope.

Understand the role through real projects

Ask about each space and YAT's involvement. Design and construction scope varies; a school name or photographs alone do not establish the full scope of works.

Questions Before You Enquire

What information helps with a school project enquiry?

Provide the location, areas to improve, plans or photographs, user needs and proposed timing. Explain any school procedures or site constraints too.

Does every school case involve a whole-school renovation?

No. Involvement varies by project. Consult the individual record or enquire further, rather than treating localised works as a whole-school renovation.

Discuss Your Space and Project

Tell YAT your project type, location and initial direction.
